The Toronto Blue Jays have a rich history which dates back to 1977, when MLB arrived in the city. Since then the team has won the World Series back-to-back in 1992 and 1993 and taken home six AL East Division titles. Along the way the Jays have accrued some of the most iconic players in the modern game, many of whom went on to have Hall-of-fame careers.

But who are the greatest Blue Jays of all time?

Roberto Alamar (1991-1995)

Without a doubt Alomar was the best second basemen that has ever played in Toronto and easily one of the best all-time. Alamar had everything you could ask from the position, including a high batting average, big hitting power, the ability to steal bases, and potential to create top-class defensive plays.

A Hall-of-Fame inductee, Alamar is part of many legendary Blays moments like his game-tying two-run homer off the Athletics in the ninth inning of Game Four of the 1992 ALCS. He also held an amazing batting average of .480 in six games against Philadelphia in the 1993 World Series.

Roy Halladay (1998-2009)

The face of the franchise through the 2000s, Roy Halladay played 12 seasons with the Jays, finishing in the top five in American League Cy Young Award voting on five occasions and winning the award in 2003.

Halladay is known as one of the best pitchers to ever put on a glove and will forever be remembered as the workhorse of the team, even after this untimely death in 2018.

Carlos Delgado (1993-2004)

Delgado played for the Jays for nine seasons between 1996 and 2004. He is just one of six players who managed to hit 30+ homers in 10 consecutive seasons. In terms of awards, Delgado took home the Silver Slugger award two times but could only muster a second place in MVP voting back in 2003. In 2015, Delagaso was inducted into the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame.
