NFL Power Rankings: Week 11

NFL Power Rankings: Week 11

With 10 weeks in the books for the 2022 NFL regular season, the power rankings hold a number of surprises not expected at the start of the season (read NFL news). Who would’ve thought that Tom Brady and Aaron Rogers would find themselves on teams with losing records? On the other hand, who could’ve predicted the Eagles would be 8-1 or that the Dolphins would be topping the AFC East?

While unexpected, it sure does make for an interesting Power Rankings list. Below are our expert picks for the top 5 teams at the moment:

Kansas City Chiefs (7-2)

Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs are back to the top spot in the AFC but have been showing some chinks in the armor on defense. After a shaky win against the Tennessee Titans in Week 9 they looked much more like their vintage selves in their win against the Jags in Week 10. It is still in the air however if they keep their top 3 ranking spot down the stretch.

Philadelphia Eagles (8-1)

Despite their loss to the Washington Commanders this week, the Eagles are still one of the top teams in the NFL, for now. Jalen Hurts has proven that he can lead an offense and should be considered a premier quarterback despite his lack of experience. Going forward it will be interesting to see if the Eagles can keep up the momentum or if this loss will push them back to the middle of the pack.

Buffalos Bills (6-3)

With an injured Josh Allen, it’s no secret that the Bills definitely have not been looking their best on offense. The team fell out of first place in the AFC East after Week, relinquishing the spot to the Miami Dolphins. While we do expect the Bills to reclaim the top of the division however with one of the weaker schedules in the next few weeks.

Minnesota Viking (8-1)

The Vikings just keep winning games, which makes them hard to leave out of the top 5. Minnesota have won 7 games on the trott now after taking a thriller against the Bills this last Sunday. The win cements them as one of the best teams in the league after some iffy wins against lesser teams. If Justin Jefferson keeps putting up massive numbers you expect more of the same in the coming weeks.

Miami Dolphins (7-3)

With the recent addition of Bradley Chubb to the team, Miami looks explosive on the offensive side of the ball. Along with top wide receivers Tyreke Hill and Jaylen Waddle the big play potential on this team is off the charts. What it will likely come down to for the Dolphins is whether their defense can hold up in close games.
